PRINTING SPECIFICATIONS:
San Diego Business Journal is printed on open web offset process on 34-16, 68 E-brite newsprint using 85 to 100 line screen.
PRODUCTION REQUIREMENTS:
Black & White: Preferred printing material is velox or laser print in 240% maximum total dot density. Conversion materials accepted: Velox, finished art.
Color: Complete separations for newprint on cold web offset, 100-133 line screen, must be furnished 7 days before issue date. Color proofs are required to accompany all color ad materials. Right read emulsion side down film negatives. Process match may be used for spot color ads.
Electronic Specifications: Ads on disk are preferred if they comply with the requirements: QuarkXPress 4.0 for PC computers; disk must include all graphics and fonts used in the ad. 100MB Zip Drive and CD-ROM available.
SPACE RESERVATION:
Published weekly on Monday. Space Reservation is 11 days prior to publication date. Materials are due 7 days prior to publication date. Cancellations must be submitted in writing and received by the space reservation closing date of the issue in which the advertisement is to be published. Ads canceled after space reservation will be billed at 100%.
